  • If noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) has already been completed, attach a copy of the report.

Xromosoma tahlili va AFP, amniotik suyuqlik (kariotip va AFP, amniotik suyuqlik) testi xromosomal aneuploidiya va tuzilmaviy qayta tuzilishlar xavfi ostidagi homilalarni prenatal baholashni qo‘llab‑quvvatlaydi hamda AF‑AFP miqdoriy o‘lchovi orqali ochiq nerv naychasi va qorin old devori nuqsonlarini baholaydi. AF‑AFP g‘ayritabiiy bo‘lganda, tasdiqlash uchun atsetilxolinesteraza va fetal gemoglobin bo‘yicha refleks testlar o‘tkazilishi mumkin. To‘g‘ri AFP talqini uchun aniq gestatsion yosh zarur. Amniotsit kulturasi o‘rnatilib tahlil qilinayotganda, qo‘shimcha biokimyoviy yoki molekulyar tadqiqotlar buyurilishi va parallel ravishda bajarilishi mumkin.

Alfa‑fetoprotein homilaning sariq qopchasi, jigar va me’da‑ichak epiteliysi tomonidan ishlab chiqariladi va homilada albuminga o‘xshash transport vazifasini bajaradi. Gestatsiya davomida AF‑AFP darajalari o‘zgaradi: homiladorlikning erta bosqichlarida homila suyuqliklarida konsentratsiyalar yuqori bo‘ladi va taxminan 10 haftadan boshlab ona zardobida bosqichma‑bosqich oshish kuzatiladi; shuning uchun aniq gestatsion yoshni belgilash talqin uchun zarur.
